INTRODUCTION
Influenza, also known as flu, is a highly contagious infection of the airways that affects people of all ages. While it may be a mild disease for some, it can cause serious illness and even lead to hospitalisation in otherwise healthy people.
The best way to beat influenza is by getting the flu shot. The influenza vaccine not only protects you but also helps protect those around you. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over and is free under the National Immunisation
