مجلة عرب أسترالياـ Freedom for Humanity… رسالة إنسانية لمكافحة العبودية الحديثة واحتفاء بدور المرأة
تُعدّ مؤسسة Freedom for Humanity منظمة غير ربحية تأسّست في عام 2017 على يد Anna Ruth، الناشطة في مجال حقوق الإنسان، انطلاقًا من رؤية إنسانية ترتكز على صون كرامة الإنسان وتعزيز مبادئ الحرية والعدالة. كرّست المؤسسة جهودها لمكافحة العبودية الحديثة والاتجار بالبشر، والعمل على مواجهة أشكال الاستغلال المعاصر التي لا تزال تؤثر في حياة ملايين الأشخاص حول العالم، بما يشمل العمل القسري، الزواج القسري، والاستغلال الجنسي.
ومنذ تأسيسها، تبنّت المؤسسة نهجًا يقوم على نشر الوعي المجتمعي عبر البرامج التعليمية والحملات التوعوية التي تسلّط الضوء على مخاطر العبودية الحديثة وآليات الوقاية منها، مع التركيز على تمكين الأفراد والمجتمعات من التعرّف على مؤشرات الاستغلال وسبل الحماية. كما عملت على دعم الضحايا من خلال مبادرات إنسانية وتأهيلية، وساهمت في بناء شراكات فاعلة مع جهات قانونية وأكاديمية ومنظمات مجتمعية، بما يعزّز الجهود المشتركة لحماية الفئات المستضعفة والدعوة إلى سياسات أكثر عدالة وإنصافًا.
وتتميّز أعمال المؤسسة بحضورها الفاعل في الفعاليات العامة والندوات والبرامج المجتمعية التي تعزّز الحوار حول قضايا العدالة الاجتماعية وحقوق الإنسان، إلى جانب دعم المبادرات التي تسهم في إعادة تأهيل المتضرّرين ومساعدتهم على استعادة حياتهم بكرامة. ويعكس هذا المسار التزام المؤسسة بإحداث أثر إنساني مستدام قائم على نشر المعرفة وتعزيز المسؤولية المجتمعية.
وفي سياق رسالتها الإنسانية، تنظّم المؤسسة فعالية خاصة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمرأة بتاريخ 5 مارس 2026، في لقاء يحتفي بدور المرأة والقيادة والأثر المجتمعي. يجمع الحدث نخبة من الشخصيات الرسمية والمجتمعية والأكاديمية، إلى جانب متحدثين أصحاب تجارب إنسانية ملهمة، في أمسية تسلّط الضوء على قضايا المرأة، العدالة الاجتماعية، وأهمية التضامن المجتمعي.
ويأتي هذا الحدث تأكيدًا على التزام المؤسسة بقيمها الإنسانية وسعيها المستمر إلى بناء مجتمع أكثر وعيًا وإنصافًا. 
Freedom for Humanity… A Humanitarian Mission to Combat Modern Slavery and Celebrate the Role of Women
Freedom for Humanity is a non-profit organisation founded in 2017 by human rights advocate Anna Ruth, established upon a humanitarian vision grounded in protecting human dignity and promoting the principles of freedom and justice. The organisation is dedicated to combating modern slavery and human trafficking, addressing forms of exploitation that continue to impact vulnerable individuals worldwide, including forced labour, forced marriage, and sexual exploitation.
Since its inception, Freedom for Humanity has focused on advancing community awareness through educational initiatives and advocacy efforts designed to shed light on the realities of modern slavery while empowering communities with knowledge, prevention strategies, and social responsibility. The organisation also supports survivors through humanitarian and rehabilitative pathways, working alongside legal, academic, and community stakeholders to strengthen collective responses and encourage more protective social frameworks.
Through its programs, public engagements, and collaborative initiatives, the organisation contributes to fostering dialogue on human rights and social justice, reinforcing the importance of awareness, prevention, and shared responsibility. In alignment with its humanitarian message, Freedom for Humanity will host a special event on 5 March 2026 in celebration of International Women’s Day, recognising the role of women, leadership, and social impact while bringing together respected figures from government, academia, and the community alongside speakers sharing powerful lived experiences.
This event comes as a reaffirmation of the organisation’s commitment to its humanitarian values and its ongoing efforts to foster a more aware and equitable community.
