دور AJCCI
تأسست غرفة التجارة والصناعة الأسترالية الأردنية (AJCCI) في عام 2018. نحن منظمة مستقلة غير هادفة للربح يحكمها مجلس من تسعة أعضاء.
أهدافنا الرئيسية هي:
- تعزيز تنمية وتوسيع التجارة الثنائية والتجارة بين أستراليا والأردن.
- تشجيع ودعم الاستثمار بين أستراليا والأردن.
- إقامة علاقة خاصة مع الهيئات الحكومية الأردنية والأسترالية في الأمور المتعلقة بالتجارة والصناعة والتجارة.
- تشمل عضويتنا أمثال مزودي الخدمات العالميين EY و PwC بالإضافة إلى العديد من المؤسسات المالية.
- مع تخفيف القيود الوبائية ، تعتزم منظمتنا القيام بمهمة تجارية إلى الأردن في أقرب وقت ممكن عمليًا للقيام بذلك.
لماذا الاستثمار في الأردن؟
من بعض النواحي، كان الأردن بلدًا منسيًا في الشرق الأوسط نتيجة لدولته المسالمة إلى حد كبير وحكومته المستقرة التي ببساطة لا تجذب انتباه جيرانها.
ومع ذلك، فإن هذا هو بالتحديد سبب احتلالها مكانة عالية في قائمة البلدان التي يجب أن تبحث عنها حكومتنا والشركات الأسترالية عن فرص الاستثمار.

رياضة
حتى أن هناك بعض الأمور غير الملموسة التي يمكن أن تربط بلادنا ببعضها في بعض الأحيان– الروابط الرياضية التي تم لعبها مؤخرًا على ملعب كرة القدم حيث التقى بلدينا في التصفيات خلال الحملات الثلاث الماضية لكأس العالم. في الآونة الأخيرة ، لعب البلدان في مباراة ودية قبل ظهور أستراليا في نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2022 ، ومن الواضح أن هذا يعد إحماءًا مفيدًا للغاية بالنظر إلى أداء Socceroo الأفضل من المتوقع في قطر.

من الأمثلة البارزة على كيفية سعي الحكومة الأردنية لتشجيع الاستثمار العالمي من خلال إنشاء مناطق تنمية خاصة ومناطق حرة ، تهدف إلى تعزيز مكانة الأردن كمركز تجاري من خلال تسهيل عبور البضائع وتشجيع النشاط الاقتصادي.
تشمل أهداف المناطق الحرة ما يلي:
- جذب رؤوس الأموال المحلية والأجنبية.
- إدخال التكنولوجيا والمهارات الفنية إلى المملكة.
- توفير فرص عمل للأردنيين وتعزيز مهاراتهم.
- تطوير مناطق جديدة في المملكة من خلال إقامة المشاريع الاستثمارية.
- تشجيع الصناعات التصديرية وتفعيل تجارة الترانزيت.
تشمل بعض المزايا التي يتمتع بها مستثمرو المنطقة الحرة ما يلي:
- الإعفاء من ضريبة الدخل على أرباح الصادرات وعلى رواتب ومخصصات العاملين غير الأردنيين.
- الإعفاء من الرسوم الجمركية وكافة الضرائب والرسوم على البضائع المصدرة من المنطقة الحرة إلى السوق غير المحلي وعلى البضائع المستوردة إليها.
- الإعفاءات المتعلقة برسوم الترخيص وضرائب المباني والأراضي المتعلقة بالمباني والمنشآت داخل المناطق الحرة.
تم إنشاء المناطق التنموية في الأردن لتعزيز آفاق التنمية وعائدات السياحة والتأثيرات الاقتصادية على الأردن بشكل كبير والتي قد تنتج عن الوضع الفريد للبحر الميت وجبل عجلون وإدراك إمكاناتهما كوجهة سياحية عالمية.

Role of AJCCI
The Australian Jordanian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AJCCI) was founded in 2018. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation governed by a Board of nine Directors
.Our main objectives are
To promote the development and expansion of bilateral trade and commerce between Australia and Jordan
To promote and support investment between Australia and Jordan
To foster a special relationship with Jordanian and Australian Government agencies in matters relating. to trade, industry, and commerce; and
Our membership includes the likes of global service providers EY and PwC as well as numerous financial institutions
As pandemic restrictions ease, it is our organisation’s intention to undertake a trade mission to Jordan as soon as is practicable to do so
Why invest in Jordan؟
In some ways Jordan has been a forgotten country in the Middle East as a result of its largely peaceful state and stable Government that simply doesn’t attract the attention of its neighbours
And yet that is precisely the reason why it should be high on the list of countries our government, and Australian companies, should be seeking for investment opportunities
Jordan has the potential to be the magic door to the Middle East for Australian businesses
As described by Australia’s Ambassador to Jordan on his website, and I quote: “Australia and Jordan enjoy a warm and increasingly diverse relationship, underpinned by strengthening political ties, longstanding cultural links and a small trade relationship
Sport
There’s even that intangible that can sometimes bind our countries together – the sporting ties that more recently have played out on the football pitch with our two countries meeting in qualifiers over the past three World Cup campaigns. Most recently the two countries played in a friendly ahead of Australia’s appearance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, clearly a highly beneficial warm-up given the Socceroo’s better-than-expected showing in Qatar
Incentives
A prime example of how the Jordanian Government seeks to encourage global investment is through the creation of special development zones and free zones, aimed at enhancing Jordan’s status as a commercial centre by facilitating the transit of goods and encouraging economic activity
The objectives of the free zones include
Attracting local and foreign capital
Introducing technology and technical skills into the Kingdom
Providing work opportunities for Jordanians and enhancing their skills
Developing new areas in the Kingdom through the establishment of the investment projects; and
Encouraging export industries and activating the transit trade
Some of the benefits for free zone investors include
Exemption on income tax on profits for exports, and on salaries and allowances of non-Jordanian employees
Exemption from custom duty and all taxes and fees on goods exported from the free zone to the non-domestic market and on goods imported to it; and
Exemptions relating to licensing fees and building and land taxes related to buildings and installations within the free zones
Jordan Development Zones are set up to significantly enhance the development prospects, tourism revenue and economic impacts to Jordan that may be generated by the unique status of the Dead Sea and Jebel Ajloun and the realisation of their potential as a global tourism destination
