الموضوع: الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للجنوب اللبناني وخطط التوسع الإسرائيلية
السيد رئيس الوزراء ألبانيزي المحترم،
أنا شوكت مسلماني، العضو السابق في برلمان نيو ساوث ويلز، أكتب إليكم ليس فقط بصفتي عضوًا في حزبكم، بل أيضًا كمواطن أسترالي من أصل لبناني جنوبي. أشعر بقلق بالغ إزاء ما يُتداول من نوايا إسرائيلية لاحتلال أجزاء من الجنوب اللبناني أو إنشاء منطقة عازلة، أو ما يُعرف بما يسمى “منطقة ترامب التجارية”، التي تهدف إلى محو العديد من القرى التي ينتمي إليها اللبنانيون الأستراليون في جنوب سيدني.
إن احتمال حدوث توسع إضافي في الجنوب اللبناني أمر مقلق للغاية ولا ينبغي السماح بحدوثه. فالحكومة اللبنانية، التي ترزح تحت ضغوط هائلة وتفتقر إلى الكفاءة والاستقلالية، لا يمكن التعويل عليها لمواجهة التوسع الصهيوني.
لقد عبّر رئيس الوزراء نتنياهو وحكومته المتطرفة بوضوح عن خططهم لما يُسمى بـ”إسرائيل الكبرى”، وهي خطة تقوّض المبادئ الأساسية للنظام الدولي القائم على القواعد، والذي كثيرًا ما تتحدثون عنه وتؤكدون أهميته.
لذلك، أناشدكم بكل احترام أن تتخذوا أنتم وحكومتنا العمالية موقفًا واضحًا وصريحًا في إدانة ومعارضة أي احتلال عسكري إسرائيلي للجنوب اللبناني، ورفض أي خطة تهدف إلى شرعنة الاستيلاء على الأراضي تحت ذريعة “الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي”. فإذا كان ثمة من يحتاج إلى الأمن والحماية، فهو شعب لبنان، وبالأخص سكان الجنوب اللبناني، الذين هم بأمسّ الحاجة إلى حماية المجتمع الدولي من الاعتداءات والحروب الإسرائيلية التوسعية.
أتطلع إلى قيادتكم واتخاذكم إجراءات عاجلة وحاسمة في هذا الشأن.

Subject: Israeli Occupation of South Lebanon and Expansion Plans
Dear Prime Minister Albanese
I am Shaouqat Moselmane, former Member of the New South Wales Parliament. I write to you not only as a member of your party, but also as an Australian citizen of South Lebanese origin. I am deeply concerned about reports of Israeli intentions to occupy parts of South Lebanon or to establish a buffer zone, sometimes referred to as the so-called “Trump Commercial Zone,” which seeks to erase many villages that Lebanese Australians in South Sydney trace their roots back to
The prospect of further expansion into South Lebanon is extremely troubling and must not be allowed to occur. The Lebanese government, under immense pressure and lacking both independence and competence, cannot be relied upon to resist such Zionist expansion
Prime Minister Netanyahu and his extremist government have openly expressed their plans for what they call “Greater Israel,” a project that undermines the very principles of the rules-based international order that you and your government so often advocate
Therefore, I respectfully urge you and our Labor government to take a clear and unequivocal stand in condemning and opposing any Israeli military occupation of South Lebanon, and to reject any scheme that seeks to legitimize land grabs under the pretext of “Israeli national security.” If there are people in need of protection and security, it is the people of Lebanon, particularly the residents of South Lebanon, who urgently require the international community’s protection from Israel’s expansionist wars and aggression
